During the time when everyone though Keanu was cool because of Speed, my friend rented Point Break for her birthday party and I had to leave 15 minutes into it.
Some time later, we rented it and I was able to see the whole thing. I thought it was pretty cheesey, but still good. After watching it, I couldn't help but walk like Keanu had been - and he was sort of limping throughout. From there on it was known as "The Walk", and in every proceeding movie I yelled if I noticed he was doing it.
Some actors actually change their walk to suit their character. But Keanu does not.
Anyway, Point Break is the story of an injured Quarterback-turned-lawyer, named Johnny Utah, entering the FBI (Keanu) and his first big case: 4 guys masked as ex-Presidents have been robbing banks and Johnny must go undercover and learn to surf. He ends up falling in love with his surf-instructor (Lori Petty) and getting attached to the group of adrenaline junkies (lead by Patrick Swayze). Which leads to the question: Do we follow love or money?
I've heard (surprisingly enough) that Keanu wanted the role because of the character's name! Okay...
A female director (Kathryn Bigelow)'s action movie; meaning not too much female nudity but a hell of a lot of great shots of Keanu. (I don't know...ever since To Wong Foo... Patrick Swayze has seemed a little feminine to me...he just doesn't cut it - not that that's bad; All my attention goes toward Keanu anyway!)

-This was Keanu's first excellent action movie, but no one really noticed.

-The many great shots of Keanu doing cool things...if I go into all of them this would get way too long! Just go rent/buy it!
